    I have a few clips 1-2 minutes each and I want to connect them. I have avi I want to join together and I also have mp4 that I want to join together. but not mixed

    any help appreciated. cheers!

    Most any video editor can do that. But the video and audio formats must be exactly the same.
    Try AVIDemux for starts as it can handle most common formats. Use 'Append' to join.
