Difference between MPEG1 and MPEG2

Hello,

I have downloaded some MPEG FIles, How can I check to find out which files are MPEG 1 and which files are MPEG 2. Some of them have weird aspect ratio sizes which makes it hard to work out.

Also how can I find out which ones are NTSC and which ones are PAL. Is there a program that can tell me this information.

Look under tools to the left of this page. There you will find links to several tools (mostly freeware too) that will do what you want
