Hi folks
Just wondering if anyone can help me or have any suggestions into what im doing wrong.
Im using a wintv capture card combined with a sound blaster live card when i capture everything is fine but sometimes it captures all ok but when I play back the clip just so i can see it I notice there is a scratch in the audio and was wondering what can be causing this to happen.
It not there for long only a split sec, if that!!
Just sounds like a scratch.
I've actually noticed this scratch sometime when i download a mp3 there is a scratch in that as well and this is exactly the same thing.
I hope you ppl can understand me when i say a scratch cause i cant really explain it !!
lol :))

Do you mean with scratch a high pitched overlay to the normal sound, just lasting about the length of a frame?
I heard both of it in mp3 and more in captured videos.I don't know how they get into mp3 but with video they are accompanied with bad frames. -
Yes it does sound like a high pitched overlay thing lasting for a frame second.
Hmm bad frame i dont now how this is caused, but is there any way we can stop it from happening.
Actually now that you mentened bad frames I have noticed it accuring when im actually doing other stuff as well while capturing.
I mean surfing the net opening word documents etc
But when I just capture and not do anything else it doesnt accure but Im not 100per cent sure tho..
Thx for your reply :) -
doing other things while capturing will definitly produce bad frames.Even background programs or scrennsavers will cause some.Give the capture program real time priority and stop everything else not used will improve things.
