  1. Hello,

I've been using MKVToolNix for years and just recently upgraded to version 25. Is there a trick to getting a batch of videos to all join into 1 video? I've done this countless times before, but for some reason MKVToolNix won't allow me to join a dozen or so clips together into 1 video. To be clear, I can't seem to select "Default track in output" for more than 1 video - it just ignores the other dozen or so. If I select "Default track in output" to YES for any other clips, it automatically de-selects the other. WTF?!

Does anyone have any advice or ideas on how to get this to work? I'm just looking to remux a batch of videos without re-encoding or compressing.

If you do it that way, I believe the result would contain the video and audio streams in parallel, not as a sequence (appended one after another). Concatenating may require a different workflow.

  3. Open the first file in MKVToolnix. Right click and select Append.

D'oh!!! Of course - I'm an idiot. Thanks so much - this is exactly what I needed to do.

    Cheers
