  1. Hello,

I'm trying to recover an old dvd to a group of friends, but I'm having problems with some "artifacts" (not sure) that appear in the mouth and eyes of some characters.
I managed to minimize using QTGMC, tried some variations with AnimeIVTC, but did not give different results.

My current script (without the restore filters):

    Video Sample: DROPBOX

    Code:
    QTGMC(preset="Slow")
    SelectEven() #maybe (pulldown)
    #
    nnedi3_resize16(target_width = 720, target_height = 540, src_left = 9.5, src_top = 1.5, src_width = -4.0, src_height = 0.0, taps = 128, nsize = 4, nns = 4, pscrn = 4, dither = 8, kernel_d = "Spline36", kernel_u = "Spline36", lsb_in = false, lsb = false, tv_range = true, mixed=false)
    #
I'm not very experienced and I'm using the above form of resize and crop, I do not know if that's right.

I was wondering if there is a way to remove this?

    thank's for your time.

  2. Why not just IVTC the thing?

And there's no reason to resize it. You can keep it at 720x480 and apply a SAR when encoding to have it play at the right aspect ratio.

The neat IVTC I've never found how to use.
I tried it, AnimeIVTC and TIVTC, but everyone left that residue.
The least that leaves is the QTGMC and IT.

    I'll see how SAR gets.

    Thank you for reply.
