I am very inexperienced at authoring and burning cds, in fact, I just bought by first computer with burner. I have been trying to copy vcds (I am trying to copy a copy, not an original) with my Nero 5 software, and I am having problems. I have managed to make a few copies that played on my panasonic portable dvd player, but the last few that I made will not play. At first I thought that it had something to do with the note that is in the Nero guide that states that Nero only includes a demonstration Mp3 encoder for use up to 30 tracks, and after that you have to buy a plug in. However, I read on the forum that it is not good to encode files over for copying. so why do some of the vcds play and some don't? I checked the disks for data and it says that there is definatley something on them, but I can't see anything. I am using CD-Rs. I need to know if this has anything to do with how I am using the program, or is this something that is unavoidable in some cases. Please help me!
Peace,
bjbj
