Started using Premiere to edit longer videos (mainly to cut commercials out and what not) but i'm really not happy with what its done to the colours and loss in detail after rendering. Looks too washed out..
Here's what the file looks like before

Is there any way to fix it, to maintain the original colours, If not is there a better alternative..?

Ah.. of course! I clicked on the HD Color Space option mistakenly thinking it was right as the video is an 720p upscale of an SD channel. Have changed it to rec.601 and it's came out fine now. Many thanks
