I made the mistake of recording all of my home videos onto DVD using the above machine but forgot to finalise them before the machine broke. Apparently I need the exact model to finalise. Are there any out there? Thanks.

I've had very good success over the years using ISO Buster to extract the video files from unfinalized or improperly finalized DVDs.
There may be other tools now, possibly free ones, but this is what works for me.
