  1. I have a Hauppauge Colossus and I am trying to capture 640x480 NTSC video. The only input options within the Hauppauge Capture software are PAL resolutions and frame rates (480x576i, 1920x720, 640x360, 25fps, 50fps, etc.) There is no option within the software to select NTSC. Has anyone run into this problem before? The card supports both PAL and NTSC signals.

  2. 720x480 is NTSC resolution. Output Resolution set to "Source" should get you 720x480 with an NTSC source. With the output frame rate to "Source" so it should capture 29.97 fps.

Why are you using the re-scaling option? Is your source different than what you want. If so what?

I don't have your model but the Haup should capture the same resolution as the input source if you leave that option off.
There's not much to do but then I can't do much anyway.
