I just am a big dvd fan and plan to buy a dvd player soon. I live in denmark and we do not have any of those region free dvd players in our shops online or offline shops.

    So my quesiton is this

    i need to know
what brand of dvd players u recomend my
buying i mean the ones that are easiest to
unlock into a region free dvd player.

    For ex.
Phpips or sony or samsung i hope u understandf my quetion

    best regards from

At the top of this page you will see a menu entry 'DVD Hacks'. That will take you to a list of make/models that have been hacked with appropriate instructions (still use these tho at your own risk)

On-line stores such as Amazon will show several players that are Region-free. Inevitably they have been independently modified which invalidates any manuf guarantee.

yes but the dvd hack section does have some good details yes. But some of the hacks
are then filled with comments from users i guess that actaully
    do write
    this hack did not work

    so is there a way
i can only see the hacks without any comments
some way to exc lude the hacks that the users are saying does not work?`

and also found a pansoniic player that both playes
dvd and bluray too and can also be hacked by the store for an extra
    fee GREAT
this is the only one i found im my contry of Denmark that WILL gurantee
a firmware hack with all the regions and so on and then
    the about
amazon co uk whch is the one that is closest where i live

    i noticed
    that their prices are very
high for a bluray player with region unlocked

and i lalso have to pay extra fees in shipping when i get the player shipped from the uk to denmark and extra in customs fees and stuff like that

so far my best bet is the
    danish store
    nbradio dk
    that have guranteed
the region free hack i only have to pay
1100 daniish kroner for that one including shipping and
the its with both a usb and hdmi plugin
so i think that its my favorit as im also on a tight budget
thank you for tour great helpfull coments by the way.

    best regards iceb

The other issue with reported hacks is that they sometimes require a specific remote - not the manuf supplied one.

Also what might work for one version of the player might not work for a an updated firmware.

Do also remember that some people write when they have not actually attempted the hack. Or did not follow the instructions correctly.

I see so no way to filter them fior example if i only want to see the working hacks
there shoild be some kind of advanced search and cannot find that kind of function so maybe
they will add that to the later on when they update the website in the future just like for ex
    games they willl allways
relase a parch for it later on yes im a ps4 gamer myself

There is a search function on the top of the page plus options to list them in various ways.

But you must remember that the people who posted the hack did so in good faith - it worked for them.

Beyond that, the risk in bricking your player is yours entirely.

I wouldn't bother with either Blu ray or DVD players. Get a good Mediaplayer like for example https://androidtvbox.eu/zidoo-x9s-review-smart-tv-box-with-dual-hdmi-powered-by-realtek-rtd1295/ or Popcorn A-500 or Dune etc with plenty of storage, external or internal and transfer your dvd's or blu ray discs to MKV using MakeMKV that doesn't shrink or lose any quality. It doesn't care what region or zone the disc is. Add in DVDFab Passkey and you are covered. You can then put your originals away for safe keeping.

    hi there

so just one isue with that.
I rum a windows gamer pc with windows 10 on. And i did try makemkv and also
the one from dvdfab and they all failed amd gave my errors so not gonna re install them again.

    and by the way
i did have much more success using
one of thoise dvd ripper aps which actually can rip
also bought not only pirated dvd and blurays
and then save it to a mkv file with subs build in that is a high res
    1080 x 1920 res........

so do you think the other seller is a scam artist or legit then the ones called

I haven't personally bought anything from 220-electronics, but it's often recommended here and other forums.
