  1. A lot of my video files do not show the thumbnail preview when I have them as large icons. They are usually MOV files, and some AVI and MPG files. The default player is Movie and TV. Thumbnails display a picture so I know which video they are before playing them. It used to work but all of a sudden, it is not working so I don’t understand why. It’s a new laptop so I haven’t done anything dramatic.

Someone told me Windows 10 was going to fix this issue before due to some compatibility issue with Apples mov format. Apparently that is not the case. I don’t have the show icon button checked in view mode. Help?

I tried recreating the thumbnail cache in windows 10 using the Disk Cleanup tool but that did not work.
