I assume it can capture DVCPRO25 and DVCAM.

As the old saying goes "In for a penny...." or "If in doubt try it out"
My take is that as far as the video and main audio tracks are concerned there is little or no difference between the two (of course PRO50 has a higher bitrate so if it works then expect 26 gig per hour files rather than 13)
And surely the transfer interface is the same IEEE 1394.
Of course pros would not use this and I doubt if the developer of the program had the opportunity to test it. There is no mention on the web page.
Hard hat now on as I expect someone who really knows the answer to come and rubbish the above
DV is data transfer, what is inside the stream it doesn't matter.
Since I can't grab DV on my Windows 10 pro, this was captured over Linux with dvgrab, so if a simple program as dvgrab can, I'm sure any other can also.

Thanks. That's what I thought. Is there a video showing the quality difference between DVCPRO25 and DVCPRO50?
You can read about it.
It's not hard to figure it out from there, YouTube also show you some samples if you search it.
