r00 files

I have downloaded 3 films which all came as a series of of files ending in r00 r01 r02 etc. Does anyone know the best way of reconstructing them? I use W10 64 on my PC
Any help appreciated.

A file with the R00 file extension is a WinRAR Split Compressed Archive.

This file type is normally accompanied with files that have the extension .R01, .R02, .R03, To open multiple archive volumes at once, you must first make sure that all of the different parts.

WinRar automatically detect the other part files and combine them together, and then extract the contents.

Also 7zip okay you have to open the file unnumbered
Let miss all Files r00 R01 R02 etc.
The valid file is without numbers example filename. rar

install 7-Zip -> mark all three files -> right click -> extract to desired folder

Ive tried with 7 zip but keep getting CRC Failed error message.

If the creator of the files did a split to 4 files for example and you have three, there will be a CRC error.
Do you have all parts?

As far as I know i do. They are all downloaded as DVDs. Is there any way of telling?

It's already been some time for me having such files. Do you only have *.r00, *.r01 and *.r02, but no *.rar?
If you have a "small" *.rar, right click on that file and extract to a folder, it should automatically detect the other files.

You need all 4 files for the rar to extract

If using winRAR you can click on any of them and it will pick the right order. If using 7-zip you HAVE to pick the .rar and click extract. Picking .r00 etc first will give CRC errors. WinRAR will show whats in each piece, but it's just that a incomplete piece if the others aren't present
