I captured my home DV video using Pyro firewire card and Ulead video software that came with it. I tried many different output formats(NTSC VCD, PAL VCD etc) Then I used Nero to burn it each one on a sepate CD-R at 4X as also tried it at 2X. None of these CD-Rs would playback on my Panasonic A310 DVD/VCD player although I had no problems playing them on my PC. I used a generic brand CD-R media. My goal is to produce my home video in exactly the same format as the commercial ones which I have no problems at all playing back on my Panasonic A310.
Here are my questions:
1. What am I doing wrong?
2. Does the brand of the CD-R media matter?
3. Should I choose NTSC or PAL. The Chinese VCDs I bought in Singapore plays on both PAL and NTSC.
Thanks in advance for any suggestion.
