    how can i convert a svcd into a vcd so my player can play it

    You can use DVD2AVI. Load your svcd file into DVD2AVI and then select 'Save Project'.

    Wait till it makes a *.d2v file.

    Load that *.d2v file in tmpg and choose a vcd template and hit run.

    You'll have a mpeg file ready to burn onto a CD-R.
