  1. Please do not get me wrong.

    Of course I can use the StreamTransport software, but I want to know how it works. Or more precisely I want to know if it uses temporally files and where they are.

    Whenever StreamTransport detects a stream it is displayed in the box below. It can be a very long list. I think StreamTransport must write it into a temporally file somewhere. Does somebody know in which directory this file may be located?

  2. You can monitor common places like program directory, temp folder (windows), then user/name/AppData/ ....

    Programs might, or most likely do, write information into some sort of objets, like variables, arrays, names differ depending what language it is used. They can even store those objects in data form on disk and read them later. Not as a file with txt extension that is comfortably human readable.

    So you might be ready for that.
    As a safety precautions, if it is a file, random names are created, file is randomly named, created and closed in proper sequence so it is not predictable and so it is difficult to hijack.
