  1. You get several dll files to choose from:

    Release_XP
    Release_Intel_W7_Core2_AVX
    Release_Intel_W7_Core2_AVX2
    Release_Intel_W7_Core2_AVX2_Broadwell
    Release_Intel_W7_Core2_SSE4.2
    Release_Intel_W7_Xeon_AVX512
    Release_Intel_XP_Core2_SSE4.2
    Release_W7

How do I know which one to use? I assume it's the Windows 7 one as that doesn't mention a specific CPU? I have an Intel Core i7 5960X.

    The readme also says this:

Release_Intel versions are compiled with Intel Parallel Studio 2018 (icl 18.0.1.156).
Others are compiled with VS2017 Update 5.

Get x86 redistribuable package for Visual Studio 2017 Update 5.
    https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=746571

Get Intel Parallel Studio 2018 redistribuables to use Intel versions.
    https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/intelr-composer-redistributable-libraries-by-version
I have Windows 10 Pro. Do I still need to download any of those?

  2. Thanks. Do you know if I still need to download both pieces of software I mentioned?

  3. If you updated nnedi3 and it works, you don't need either of the redistributable packages. If you get a "no such function as" type of error, then you do.

  4. On another plugin issue, I noticed the below text on this page: http://avisynth.nl/index.php/SMDegrain

Beware, tp7's plugin mods have no YUY2 support, require AviSynth 2.6a5 or latest Set's MT for v2.6, and Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable.
What is TP7 and what does that mean?

tp7 is a person. If you don't know, then I doubt you have his mod and doubt you need the stuff his version requires.

  6. Nnedi has these versions to choose from:
    Release_Intel_W7_Core2_AVX2
    Release_Intel_W7_Core2_SSE4.2

My Intel Core i7 5960X CPU supports both of those so how do I know which one to choose?

  7. Both will work. AVX2 is probably a little faster. Try them and see.

  8. Posted by jpsdr today in the nnedi3, mvtools2, ResampleMT and awarpsharp threads. I haven't read through the threads to find out what the problem is as I use the XP versions.

There is issue with the Intel versions.
I'll update the release files on github, removing the Intel versions, and keeping only VS version, and adding an VS AVX2 version. Wait at least 24h to check/re-download the files.

  9. Thanks I've downloaded the new ones now. But where is the awarpsharp thread as there's a few of them?

What version of awarpsharp should I use? I use McTemporalDenoise and QTGMC quite a lot.

  10. This is jpsdr's awarpsharp thread.
    https://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=175064

It's the version currently being developed. You can download it here.
    https://github.com/jpsdr/aWarpSharpMT/releases

Neither McTemporalDenoise or QTGMC require awarpsharp though.

Do you use the modded version of McTemporalDenoise? I'm not sure what all the differences are, aside from using some more recent plugins and the joy of only having to type MCTD() as the function name. There's a changelog in the script. http://pastebin.com/raw/xuRuW787

  11. Thanks I've got the new awarpsharp version now. Is there a new warpsharp version anywhere?

I was using the 2010 McTemporalDenoise version. Where can I get the modded version?
