How to download videos from ABC site in HD?

I am trying to download videos from ABC site (American Idol episodes) in HD quality. They're all .m3u8 files.
I tried using livestreamer (without encoding, but keeping original quality) but the video quality is kinda laggy.

Here's the link to the episode i was trying to download:

Then open CMD window & use this code for 1280x720:
C:\YOUTUB~1\YOUTUB~1.EXE -f ULNK-3614 "http://abc.go.com/shows/american-idol/episode-guide/season-01/1-episode-1-auditions"

Note: The part BOLD is where YOUTUB~1.EXE is located (on my system), so adjust for where YOUTUB~1.EXE is on your system.

I'm a little new to Youtube dl. Was surfing the forum on how to make the Youtube-dl download links.
Just now installed Youtube dl & was trying to download the episode using it.

At first i located the m3u8 link of the video & checked the available qualities by using this code:

youtube-dl -F https://content.uplynk.com/ext/d874124ecca24c88a3c9575e78686acf/10117419.m3u8

Then i tried to download it directly using this code:

youtube-dl https://content.uplynk.com/ext/d874124ecca24c88a3c9575e78686acf/10117419.m3u8

^But it gives me an error after downloading 0.1%: ''ERROR: unable to download video data: HTTP Error 403: Forbidden''

Please help me what to do & how to download in best quality?

Not really. It did not.

Please check the ways i mentioned above when i was trying to download the video & please correct me when i went wrong with the codes.

Wow! And I thought it was a blog of programmers gathered here) So many complicated pieces show the guys ... But the most interesting is that you the author did not help an author of a post. Maybe there is a paid subscription? You did not check in details?
