I can create Avisynth filter with gcc?

1. I can create Avisynth filter with gcc? Or only Visual Studio?
2. I can create VirtualDub filter with gcc?

I suppose it's possible, but I also assume it would not be a trivial task. To begin with, the MinGW-w64 "framework" would have to include all the files which are used when one compiles Avisynth stuff through Microsoft's compiler. Also, the ./configure and other "building" files would have to be written accordingly.

Can't speak for Avisynth, but for VirtualDub there should be no issues. I build several plugins with gcc, there is no ABI conflict or whatever.
