Up till now I've always used SolveigMM Video Splitter to trim/cut out video parts without rendering or converting it. But now that I've switched to 4K 2160p videos, it no longer opens them. I try to import the file as usual, but nothing happens.
Is there any solution to this? Or any alternative app which will allow me to cut video parts without having to render them again?
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

What format are your files in? SolveigMM Video Splitter doesn't support H.265/HEVC format that's often used for 4K.
TMPGEnc supports HEVC "smart" cutting: http://tmpgenc.pegasys-inc.com/en/product/tmsr5.html
If you only need cutting at IDR frames you can use the free mkvtoolnix.
