sounds more like you've got a virus waiting to happen. if an mp4 says you have to do something odd to open it, that something will most likely infect your computer. encryption has to be removed before converting to mp4.

No maybe I have not explained things. I have bought a program called CinDe HD to remove cinavia but it don't work on this 1 movie. It's been fine on other movies. But not on this .mp4 movie so was told it needs decryption 1st with passkey but it's really expensive. I just can't see what encryption does anyway

Can you play this "encrypted" mp4 in a regular media player? If yes, it's not encrypted.

    What is "passkey" ?

does the sound cut out at some point during the movie ?? if the movie does have cinavia then you can try dvdfab
dvdfab has a free HD Decrypter that works on most movies.

    DVDFab Passkey.

OP: If you know how to post a MediaInfo report on the mp4 this should be of use to tell you what type of file it is..

Perhaps I'm showing my ignorance, it's not an area I delve into much - in passkey similar to anydvd ?
What bearing does it have on an mp4 as mentioned by the OP ?

Passkey of course has no bearing on anything other than removing regional coding on DVD's and BD discs - clearly the OP doesn't yet have the skill set understanding. So the best we can do here is to assist him in a better understanding that's why many people come here for assistance, after all the name of this forum is VideoHelp.
My guess is the MP4 is a fake or even malware who knows? Until a MediaInfo file report is published it's simply conjecture.

I bought this utility called CinEx HD Utility http://cinexhd3.com/downloads/ which removes cinavia from movies, I use the program called CinDE shell extention which scans the movies for cinavia then if present use CinEx HD to remove it. so when i scanned the above movie it said cinavia present. so then I used CinEx HD to remove it, but it still said cinavia present. so i asked people i bought CinEx HD from and they said

you have to use either Passkey or AnyDVDHD to remove decryptions make sure they are up to date

    they also said
All movie titles have some sort of encryption
so they are saying I need to use a decrypter on the movie so CinEx HD can remove the cinavia the decryptors clean the title up so we can produce a database to accurately remove Cinavia

hope now all this makes sense
