I'm using Virtual Dub to convert a video from 23.976 to 25fps, but I'm not seeing any video. Just the audio.
I did everything. I even made sure the input and output video panes were displayed. I'm still not seeing the video when I save as AVI. The VLC thumbnail shows a video, but again, I'm not getting any video. Just the audio. What am I doing wrong?

You probably only performed the first pass of a multipass encoding. During the first pass a black video is saved. During the second pass the real video is saved.

Okay, so how exactly do I perform the Multipass encoding? Step-by-step. I have the separate video and audio elements ready.

You don't need to convert the avi in virtual dub, just change the frame rate in video from 23.976 to 25 and choose direct stream copy to save. You will need to re-encode the audio to match.
I think,therefore i am a hamster.
