Then copy the URL to the clipboard and double click on _cb2ytdl.bat.
is your downloaded video encrypted or you can watch it normal?
The video I downloaded with youtube-dl was not encrypted.
PS: Since the video is a live stream it has no end. To stop recording in youtube-dl use CTRL+C. That will leave ".part" at the end of the filename. Just remove that, leaving ".mp4". That is, rename

thanx a lot, now it works!!
great software, it would be even better if this could work somehow on android phone but its ok on pc too
Another method is to copy and paste the m3u8 link to Allavsoft and click Download button. It will automatically download them to mp4
You can also use:
...in your yt-dl syntax.
I tried the --no-part switch with a m3u8 link (a fixed-length video, not a live stream) : it doesn't prevent yt-dl from downloading .fragX files, which add unnecessary clutter on the drive (although those temporary files are deleted right away, someone who needs to recover a file later on with something like Recuva might find thousands of those .fragX files, and it's also likely to increase fragmentation), whereas ffmpeg copies the partial streams on the fly directly to the output.
