    Hi guys,

The PRO CAPTURE DUAL HDMI Magewell capture card, with which motherboard is compatible?

I read that motherboards with X99 chips can create problems of different kinds.

One problem was caused by an outdated BIOS. Someone who updates the BIOS to the latest version before installing the card apparently won't have that problem. The other problems weren't necessarily caused by the motherboard. Did you not read the link which stated that Magewell had issued a recall on their affected products produced before August 2016, but only those with X99 motherboards would need to return their Magewell card. Those with motherboards which use other chipsets are unaffected by the recall.

My problem is just that. Understand what kind of chip I could combine with the capture card, leaving aside for a moment the motherboards with X99 chips.

If you want the current equivalent to an X99 chip, that would be an X299 chip. On the AMD side, an X370 chip or X399 chip.

in this motherboard I should also install an EVGA GEFORCE GTX 1080 SC2 iCX graphics card.
Do AMD motherboards work with NVIDIA video cards?

Yes, AMD motherboards work with NVIDIA GPUs. However, if you plan to use SLI, you need to make sure the motherboard and video cards support it.

However, before you buy a new motherboard and processor, you should decide on the software that you will use for streaming, capture, or editing. The most demanding of your software's hardware requirements will provide guidance on what processor (and motherboard chipset) you need, although the processor should always exceed the minimum requirements by a comfortable margin.
