Sup all, I recently downloaded some DBZ episodes (around 100 MB each) and I was wondering if there's anyway possible to fit more then 1 episode unto a 80 MIN 700 MB CD-R disk. Like put maybe 6 or 7 episodes into 1 CD to save some cd's.

I highly doubt you can put 6 or 7 episodes, especialy if you want to put it as VCD.
It's all a question of how long the episodes are, and what format you want them to be in.Email me for faster replies!

Well they are in avi forms, and do realize that when I convert them, it will enlarge the size of the file. I was wondering if it's possible though to fit them into 1 VCD, maybe not to the extreme of 6 or 7, but maybe 2 at most?

Well, like i've said, it depends on the format and the length of each episode, lets say each episode is 20min, you can put 4 episodes on a 80min VideoCD.
If it's 30min, then 2 episodes on a 74min CDR, or 3 Episodes on a 90min CD
Or you can use a Template like Kwag's or my own to reduce the file size even more, and you might get away with 5 episodes on a CDR, but again, it depends on the length of each episode and the format you will use.Email me for faster replies!

They are 20 minute episodes and I'll be converting them into MPEG format. So how would I go about putting in 4 eps on 1 VCD? Is there a tutorial you can point me to?
THNX 8) -
Easily, no need for a special guide, 20min Episode would be 200mb in VideoCD format, an 80min CDR media can have 800mb of VideoCD, therefor, you can put 4 full length Episodes on a single 80min CDR.
And if you use something like my own or kwag's Template then you can propably put even 5 episodes or 6.Email me for faster replies!

So I can use Nero and put the episodes in just like I would do the same with a movie?
THNX 8) -
Technicly yes, but if you planning on using Nero to encode, I would strongly not recommand that!

Great, thnx, you've been a great help! I have 1 last question though. How can I go about putting in chapters for different episode. For ex: I wanna skip the 1st episode on the VCD, and go to chapter 3 to watch the 3rd episode on the VCD. The only way I could imagaine to do that is by combining all the mpeg episode into 1 big whole, and the using some kind of VCD Editor to place chapters on every episode. Any clue on how I can go about doing this?

Oh god no, it's much easier then that, you do have a few options, like for one, if you put each MPEG file on it's own, you will already have "fake" chapters, which means you can press the 3 on your remote and it will jump to the 3rd chapter.
The bad thing about that method is that if you let it play episode by episode, you will have a short (around 2sec) delay between the episodes.
So your second method would be to combine all files into one large MPEG, and then use a program like TSCV or VCDEasy, and place Chapter Points at the sections you want to be able to "jump" to, this can be each episode start, or every specific interval of time.Email me for faster replies!

That way would give you "fake" chapters as I mentioned earlier, you will have a delay if you play chapter after chapter.

To get rid of the 2 second delay, right click on your file in Nero and select properties. You should then see the 2 secs highlighted in boldJust change this to 0.

Actually, even if you put it to 0, there will always be a delay between the episodes when using seperate MPEG files per episode.
