[SOLVED] Recommended < $100, compact action cam?

I'm looking for a sub-$100 compact action cam that can start real fast in case I need to shoot something unprepared.

In 2018, is the "RunCam 2" still the best there is, or is a a better alternative?

Edit: I ended up getting a Yi Xiaomi Ambarella A7 (YDXJ01XY). It's good enough to record bike rides, although the sound is significantly muffled when the camera is in a waterproof case. On a sunny day, I'll try again with the camera in the open.
