  1. What Codec and settings do you use to capture your aivs? Please Post them I want to find the best one! Thanks for the help

    Wow, that was big, bold and colourful!

    I use the following:

    Full frame
    UYUV
    Huffyuv (best compression settings...as per the menu)
    no noise reduction, no cropping, no filtering
    44.1k audio, no compression


    I think that is best...and I'm sure many will both agree and disagree!

    If you want to acheive the "best" results then use this guide

    You should capture at your target horizontal resolution and at full vertical resolution. So if you want to make an NTSC VCD then you should capture your source video at 352x480 and then resize.

    If you want to capture to MPEG for direct burning onto VCD (no re-encode necessary but quality suffers) then use this guide

    In this case you will have to capture at your target horizontal and vertical resolution (e.g. 352x288 for NTSC VCD) to avoid re-encoding
