  1. How would you cut the files in DVD2SVCD so that it'll fit. According to some guide that I've read 800 MB disc = 80 min, and 740 MB= 74 min disc, but the disc that I have labeled 700MB for 80 Min, so when DVD2SVCD cut it the lowest it can go is like 740 MB which doesn't fit my disc, is there any ways to fix this?

  2. best is to use nero to make SVCDs...also, not quite 800 MB can fit on 80 min disc cuz of overhead

the max for me on 80 min disc is 795.57 megs

yea..but not all burners can overburn and not everyone wants to overburn cuz it can cause problems with the burner and the resulting cd-r...i'm referring to the max u can fit on an 80 min cd-r w/o overburning...just regular burning

btw...for me, when i uncheck the "standard compliant for VCD," nero automatically reverts back to the 650/700 mb capacity of the cd-r, not the extended 750/800 mb capacity you would normally get when burning mode 2x/a (SVCD/VCD)....kinda weird i guess, dunno if it goes for all or just me....but just wanted to give a heads up in case u guys have unchecked the "standard compliant" and are wondering why u can't fit 800 mb on 80 min cd-r.
