  1. Hi Guys,

This is my first post and I would like to ask some help about burning vcds.

I got 18 music videos downloaded from kazaa and I want to burn it to vcd format which is playable to VCD/DVD player.

My first attempt was not successful, some videos wont work / play on the vcd and even on windows media player.

My second attemp I re-encoded the files to TMPGEnc, then burnt it. I was happy i was able to play all video files with no problem in windows media player BUT the problem was all the videos played "skippy" or somewhat slow in the VCD player.

I want help on what to do next.

PS. Right now I'm doing the re-encoding the multiplexing the files, will that help?

BTW. I'm using Nero 5.5.8.0, which i think the easiest way to burn video files.

  2. Well, just encoding the files into VCD format isn't enough, you must make sure you are using the correct frames and resolution for all movies, and you are matching the source you are encoding from.

And i'm hoping you are not using Nero to encode, are you ?
