I need VirtualDub in the AVI container to create video with the source codec, profile, quality and size ratio, color format. I want to remake the video and apply filters without changing these settings. For example, make VirtualDub remember how it turned the video into raw, and then also encoded it.

I think most software works in such a way as you would have to create the settings each time rather than the software 'remembers' the settings.
In fact this makes sense since what is good for one video is not so for another.
If you want a standardised approach but still retain the flexibility to change settings in filters etc. you would have to create avisynth scripts and let virtualdub run that script. Even then you have to set the output codec for virtualdub to do the final encode. -
I re-read your post several times and still don't understand what you are asking. However, if you simply want to save all the filter and other settings you used, Virtualdub's Save Settings and Load Settings will let you do just that.
