Hi,
you can try open your file in avidemux, it is program for conversion of videos, or in handbrake. In handbrake it can tells you it contains or not DRM. And all players you mean VLC, Potplayer, MPC-BE ? which are probably biggest players nowadays.
Also you can post text form of Mediainfo of the file.
Edit: probably protected video, but it shouldn't be from your description

Sorry I have not experience with apple quicktime. Probably someone other helps you with this. But you can install iTunes or apple quicktime, which i don't want nor testing.
It seems to me you have to install this software, but i wouldn't recommend it. But if the video is for you invaluable, you can try this.

;-(
Thanks Bernix, yes hope so too that someone else can help me or has any other ideas.
thank you for your time!! -
tried dvdfab media player, it looked like it was loading, but its not working..
i can almost cry... -
The media info URL clearly states, it is related to apple quicktime codec. I think if not playable in newest Quicktime version, it will not play at all. Probably some sort of protection there. If is it ultrasound, shouldn't contain any protection. Ask nurse or who did it. As last resort I suggest you to check if usb wasn't badly removed. Right click on drive and there something like repair... I don't even know, if is it recent record (hope can be write again in next session) or is it old record Now I see it is 4 years old recording. Weird is they are using apple format for their clients. Should be in more common format.

no the recording was made in noveber 2017, they (the pratice) said the recording on the usb is not protected, and normally you can play it in all media players, they mostly use powerdvd or windows media player and it loads instantly, the never use quicktime...
the practice also looked and it did not load on that systeem also, they said it changed, that it now sais quicktime because of us trying at home..
They said it never happed before, normally when there is an error there is nothing recorded and the files are empty, but this video file is not empty...
They called the usb comapany and they said it can happen 1 in 5000 that there is something wrong with the usb and there is nothing you can do about it...
so the recording on the usb is from 2017 and i have the newest quicktime player installed -
i also tried recovery and repair, but nomistakes are found

Suspicious field:
Also, there are no details about content streams (neither "Video" nor "Audio"), only the "General" block about the container.
I would assume that this file is incomplete, and the "headers" describing the content were in fact at the end of the file; now they are lost. No chance to repair this QuickTime based MP4 file. Is it possible that this USB stick was prematurely removed, before the recording was written completely? -
I tried burning the videofile on a dvd, but it also not working
As far as I was told the recording on the usb was complete, because otherwise the file would be empty and they told me that is not the case.
Normally when a recording went wrong the usb is empty, this is the first time a recording is on the usb and you can also see the data, but its not playing.
They told me its the first time in 1000+ recordings, so maybe they are right and itis just a bad usb (production error), they buy them in bulk.
I tried a million things now, nothing is working, I think its just lost -
No promises, just a Google search result: recover_mp4 or as online service: http://restore.media/
In theory, it may be possible to recover at least the video stream if you make assumptions about its content format, and analyze contained additional headers in the video stream. Until now, I never found any tool which attempted to be smart enough about it. But if you are pretty sure that the contained video should be H.264, give it a try.
_
P.S.: It requires a good recording with the same resolution to copy header data from and apply them to the corrupt video. So if you can get a brief second clip, you may be lucky to transfer its characteristics and recover some part of it. -
WHoe WHoe, I am very happy because it worked!!
The online service was able to restore the whole 20 minutes (just 2small bad moments)
Very happy, I really lost all hope, so many hours trying to get it to work and asking for help and this finally and only worked!
LigH.de thank you very much again for recommending them to me , october262 and bernix thank you for your help too! -
Rather thank the developer of recover_mp4 (possibly with a little donation); all I did was having a good guess selecting a Google search phrase.
