i use cequadrat winoncd to encode to vcd from avi's but the sound either comes out blank or 10 times faster then the movie (funny but no good) i tried tempenc but its too slow is there any other way to do this (with sound)???

Try it with TMPG. If that doesnt work split the audio and video then reecnode back together with TMPG
