How do I convert a YouTube video to a DVD that I can play on a DVD player?

I have done a search and much what I see looks like snake oil.

Is there a tutorial out there that can show me how to convert a YouTube video to a DVD
that I can play on a DVD player.

I have a specific Youtube video in mind. I can provide specs on the video if needed.

I have two DVD players—one old and one new(er). They are:
    1. SAMSUNG Ultra HD Blu-ray player UBD-K8500
    2. TOSHIBA DVD Video Player Model NO.SD-K770KU
Note: The SAMSUNG player is a decent unit except for the remote control.
The remote control is hated by everyone that has reviewed the player.

And yes, the TOSHIBA is an old unit, but it works just fine. I will be a getting a
new DVD player sometime in the near future.

My OS is Windows 7. I will be using a new computer with Windows 10 in a few days.

Any help that you can give me will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

  2. Use youtube-dl to download the video.

Make a DVD with AVStoDVD. Download ImgBurn separately.

    Thank you WinSpirit.

I have some questions for videobruger and davexnet. Concerning youtube-dl, AVStoDVD, and Imgburn, can I just use one of the three to burn a DVD or do I need a combination of the three, if it is a combination, which combination?

    Thank you

  7. You use youtube-dl to download the video from YouTube to your HDD. With URL being the url of the Youtube video usage is simply youtube-dl URL.

With AVStoDVD you author (make) the DVD. As output you can select an ISO image of the DVD, a DVD folder structure or to burn the DVD. In order to burn you need to install ImageBurn. Alternatively you can burn the ISO/Folder structure with other software.
