    Hey guys.
I haven't used this program (Vidcoder) for a while but I am pretty darn sure that when I was using it I was able to embed soft subs within mkv files as SRT.
Now I can't do it, no matter what I tried. I need SRT subs because within XBMC/Kodi you can change font/color/size. This is not the case with ASS subs.
On my hard drive I have two versions of the program, 1.4.22x64 and 1.5.30x64. I installed 1.5.30. Is it possible that this feature was working with 1.4.22 and now it isn't?
    Or am I missing something?

    Thanks.

  2. It's the same in HandBrake (which VidCoder is based on). So it looks like a limitation.

There is no limitation because it WAS working.
I did a comparison between the new file and some older files that I converted with VidCoder. Newer versions obviously use different engines.
I am rolling back to 1.4.22.

    What a joke!

I rolled back to 1.4.22. I can confirm that SRT support was there.

But convertion time was 35 minutes instead of just 8 with 1.5.30 version.
