This is my experience with this item. My opinion is DO NOT BUY. I tried it as instructed. The drivers and software installed properly. Recording under the CAPTURE tap apparently worked. I say appantly because the record button flashed, timer counted up, and when stopped the recording was moved to the PLAY window. Tried to play but there was a horrible buzz at the speakers. Definaetly not to be there. Only solution was to uninstall it and then use a RESTORE app to go back to a clean state. and remove the buzz. That will allow the use of another unit. I am using EZCAP 116. Note the spelling. EASYCAP was bought by another company which changed the name to EZCZP. There lots of inadaquet copies of both names. This one is the RED BOX version from the UK vendor. I also noticed that the devices audio jacks do NOT work despite any setting for windows or the device. Record audio using the LINE IN jack front or rear. I use a a/v selector foe multiple sources.. Works well. I also use a third party software called DEBUT from NCH. Works well. Please pass this along.

  2. There are many dysfunctional clones of the EZCAP. Buy only from http://www.ezcap.tv.
