TMPGEnc Problem

OK I am converting a wmv file to mpeg i extracted the audio and it gets to like 70 percent and the picture stops moving when i went to play the file after it was finished the file stops playing when it gets to 70% the picture remains the same and no sound.........what do I do ?!

Does it stop at 70% when you play it back in Media Player? If not try increasing the priority of the DirectShow Multimedia File Reader in Tmpgenc. Which can be found at option/enviornmental settings/VFAPI plug-in.

Yes it does stop at 70% when I play it what should I change the prioity to

If it also stop and 70% when playing it in media play then the file is prolly courpted. If you have any other wma file that play 100% on your comp or find and download a small one to test/play around with. If you can kthe conversion to work with the new file. You maybe stuck have to redownload the file you want to convert. If you got it off of usenet then it could be you didn't find all the parts for it. Even could have been courpted on the server you got it from. I don't know if there is any wma fixing progams. Hope this helps.
