  1. I want to use HandBrakeCLI.exe to upscale a video from a resolution of 1920x1080 to 1920x2160.

I want to keep the video exactly the same, except I want to stretch the height to 2160. How would I do this?

Unfortunately the handbrake GUI doesn't let you upscale, so I need to use the command line program which I have open and ready to go. Any help would be much appreciated!

  2. Code:
-w, --width <number> Set storage width in pixels
-l, --height <number> Set storage height in pixels

I tried. Those settings only allow me to go lower than the original resolution. If I set a resolution below 1920x1080, those settings work, but if I try to specify a resolution of 1920x2160, it doesn't work.

  4. Did you try
    Code:
       -Y, --maxHeight <number>
     Set maximum height in pixels
       -X, --maxWidth <number>
     Set maximum width in pixels

That didn't work either unfortunately. I tried so many combos, but I can't get the video to upscale. HandbrakeCLI refuses to upscale.

Vidcoder allows it and uses Handbrake's code.

I was surprised to find this out recently, but Handbrake does allow upscaling. Select Presets -> Reset Built-in Presets. Then you can upscale.

Saying it didn't work is not helping anything.
What was the actual command you used?
