    Howdy! This seems like it shouldn't be too hard, but I can't seem to find an easy way to do it...

    I have a bunch of xvid encoded avi files with dual audio tracks, and the wrong, foreign-language track is set to default. I'd like to remove the primary audio track to reduce storage space, as well as save the user the hassle of re-selecting the secondary audio track on every file.

    Essentially, i'd love an AVI version of MKVToolNix GUI - probably one of my favorite little programs ever! If you're not familiar, you pop in a file, and are shown all the streams. You select the ones you want and with one click, it'll remux the selected streams into new files, but only outputs MKV. is there an AVI equivalent that's just as easy to use??

    Thanks!

    Give a try to AVI-Mux GUI.
    It still should work great with most .AVIs. Sadly it does not support the most-recent Matroska files because it hasn't been updated anymore.

  3. VirtualDubMod:

    File -> Open Video File
    Video -> Direct Stream Copy (remux only, no encoding)
    Streams -> Stream List, highlight the track you don't want, press Disable, close dialog
    File -> Save As... new AVI
