hi
i need for a spectrum analysis
i have tried several freeware like Waveshop, Wavosaur and Audacity
well they gives me differents results and audacity told me the audio is too long
i have tried a plugins voxengo span (free) and (trial) but they are vst plugin that don't give me a static spectrum analysis (they are in real time while i'm playing audio)
can you please advises me about a program that can perform a static specrtum analysis of the entire audio or a vst plugin free or paid that can perform a static spectrum analysis?
i really like goldwave but it does have this feature
just 3 screenshots about the programs i have used of the same audio
Waveshop
Wavosaur
audacity
thank
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays!

Also are you aware that in first you have linear frequency, and in last log frequency? Probably it is intention, don't know.

Hi Bernix
yes i know , it's audacity but it does plot frequency only for short audio
the point about my screenshot , it's that they are the only software i have
and i need a program that can perform a spectrum analysis of the entire audio, i need just because i need to test some dac record devices (external usb audio card)
and i can't find a decent software
any imputs , advises are really appreciated
thanks -
Or https://www.videohelp.com/software/ocenaudio
should have also spectrum analyzer.

You can use ffmpeg or SoX, you can give a chance to Spectrum Lab http://www.qsl.net/dl4yhf/spectra1.html albeit it is focused on SDR.
Not sure what you mean by different results - are you able elaborate on this? Also it is not clear are you interested in spectrogram (so spectrum over time) or rather spectrum analyser calculating spectrum for signal under cursor (assumption that cursor represent some static point within sliding window length)
Mentioned lin vs log frequency axis but also lin vs log magnitude axis can be issues for differences (didn't want to go for windows https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Window_function , lobes and spectral leak https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spectral_leakage however all this is important to understand picture and depends on user intention i.e. window function must be carefully selected based on analyze purpose - for example flat top window is common for audio measurements as it allow for accurate magnitude measurement at a cost of spectrum resolution) -
Audacity can generate a more accurate & detailed spectrum by increasing the size parameter. Set function to Hamming window.

As for analyzing the entire track, personally I get by with analyzing one or more representative selections. -
Original poster seems confused about spectrum analysis. It's typically done using FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) applied to time domain samples.
The FFT window has a size in Samples, which once you consider the Sample frequency means the window has fixed time duration.
for a multiple window duration, you could then average the bins, if you want an average spectrum
Free Audio software typically only comes with basic options for spectrum display and sparse documentation.
