I bought the Samsung BD-J5700/ZC on sale while in Canada over the holidays.
When I connected it back home in the US I can't even select (no option) for the US/US app store. Apparently the /ZC was manufactured specifically for the Canadian market, while the ZA was manufactured for the US.
Does anyone know what would happen if I tried to install the firmware for the ZA in the ZC so I can access US content?
Is there a work around for this (what do people do if they move between countries)?
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

you can try a us firmware but doubtful it will work. it wasn't a good player to begin with so i think you'll need to eat the small loss and get something else. you move countries you buy new stuff.

I found the firmware for the US and Canada - both the same, so it doesn't look like it may work. Any other suggestions? Any ideas how it's being blocked if it's not by IP address and not by firmware?
