  1. Hi everyone.

I have the MKV file with the following audio streams:

    stream1: English 5.1 AAC
    stream2: English 2.0 AAC
    stream3: Japanese mono AC3

I'm trying to auto-select/add only the Japanese audio when I load the video. To achieve this, I've configured audio defaults for my custom preset to select Japanese only (see screenshot below).

My problem is that when I load my video, both the English 5.1 and the Japanese one were automatically included.

    things I've tried:
    • If I removed all the auto-selected tracks and use "Add all remaining selected tracks", it will pick the Japanese audio stream only.
    • On Track Selection Behavior, I've tried "First matching" and "All matching"
    • I've changed the chosen language from Japanese to English. I then reopened the file and only the English 5.1 was added. The English stereo and Japanese audio were both ignored.
    • On the "For additional tracks" setting (it's below Track selection behavior), I've tried all 3 and it doesn't make a difference.
    • I've tried other videos with English 5.1 stream and Japanese stereo audio streams, both streams were selected.

    addition info:
    • I'm using a custom preset
    • in all my testing, I never closed and then reopened handbrake.

Not sure what i'm doing wrong. Can you please help?

    Thanks a lot!

    Sorry my fault.
EDIT:First means it choose first matched language you have selected if eng so eng5.1
Try all and specify language to jpn. It should select all matched jpn taged track.

    Thanks for the reply.

if you click on the screenshots, I've configured audio defaults to select Japanese only.
