  1. use virtual dub

    save the sound as wav

    bring it in to the avi again (still with virtualdub), putting a delay on the sound. (Audio -> interleaving)

    after that you have to trial and error...
    make a few tests. select only a piece of the avi to save (15 seconds where you have speach)

  2. thx I'll give that a try. I remember using vdub and Audio -> interleaving before, but the only thing is the movie came out as crap but the audio came out fine.
