  1. I've seen it used in hollywood and used by some youtubers. Any idea of the technical term for the camera view where the camera looks mounted in front of the subject and appears to be mounted to the subject so the subject stays centered and the background moves as they move around. I guess the same effect is achieved by holding a cellphone recording a selfie video and keeping the phone as steady as possible while walking.

    That's a great question. Inverse point-of-view? At any rate, it calls for an on-body mount.

    Just foreground-centric "POV" shot, I think. You could call it a carousel or merry-go-round effect also (that's how the effect was first applied in cinema).

    Facecam, Bodymount Cam or SnorriCam.
    Or even Head Cam, when mounted on a helmet serving a double purpose (remember Fear Factor).
