Help..How do I save or download the videos from this site?

It is segmented. Please help.

Hi ,

In firefox I have set
_ "User-agent" for 'iPhone 3.0'
_ Started "httpfox"
_ Launched ( in FF ) http://civicmobile.neulion.com/vancouverparkboard/
__ select a date '19' , click on 'search'
__ click on 'Chair & Vice-Chair Elections'

=> Unable to watch a video

in "httpfox"
_ click on 'Stop'
_ in the column 'Type' see 'application/vnd.apple.mpegurl (NS_BINDING_ABORTED)'
_ in the column 'URL' you can read :
http://nlds14.cdnak.insinc.neulion.com/nlds/cacivic/parksboard1/as/live/parksboard1_hd...00940.mp4.m3u8

You can create a command-line , example :

livestreamer "hlsvariant://http://nlds14.cdnak.insinc.neulion.com/nlds/cacivic/parksboard1/as/live/parksboard1_hd_iphone_20171220020536_000940.mp4.m3u8" best -o elections.mp4

Instead of livestreamer you can use streamlink .

Interesting. Usually any explanation by aazerty simply cannot be followed, but this time, with some effort and his explanation, I was able to download/watch the video. The key point is to use Firefox User-agent" for 'iPhone 3.0, and have vlc with vlc web plugin. Otherwise the video won't play. I was able to download/watch the video with Firefox on Windows xp and Windows 7. See screenshot. Right click on the video snapshot to get the menu seen in the screenshot. Choose "view video" (red arrow) to watch the video. (Can be downloaded with Tubedigger ($15) Monitor Browsers.) Choose "copy video location" (blue arrow) to get the m3u8 to be used to download with livestreamer or youtube-dl.
(Choosing "save video as" will not save the video or complete m3u8;it will only save a list of available resolutions.)
