i have an .ASF taken from a camera that i want to deshake ...

most editors l've tried says it's 30fps but not avidemux (and some other editor i can't remember)

    Channel(s) : 1 channel
    Sampling rate : 11.025 kHz

    Stream size : 7.64 MiB (1%)

even mediainfo says it's not variable frame rate ..shoud i just ignore that?

anyway my main concerne is deshaking... this clip has it all ...fast pans, zooms, tilts all over the place

with a good first pass deshaker setup should really help me ..i know it won't be perferct
i've read that pushing contrast and brightness may help detection..

i'm willing to do a few tries and do a best of master track of my tests ..

my second option is to go into my pocket and buy something like Magix movie edit pro or Cyberlink powerproducer i think both have proDAD mercalli V2 included..

    what do you think?

my asf is my source and the .mp4 uploaded were in copy mode except for the audio that avidemux did not handle

i don't know any tool to cut ASF in loosless mode and stay in a asf container (or maybe .wmv)

Actually the original question I edited belonged elsewhere, but I guess it does apply somewhat here. I'm using FFMS2 and LSMASh and can't get a clean decode for either of the mp4 samples -- broken frames, frozen frames, blank frames, pixel blocks, etc.,etc. Maybe others have the same problem, I'll just wait and see.
