  1. Hey there!
I'm new to this and I was hoping someone could help me out. I have a DVD of a live concert and I wanted to rip the DVD to my hard drive, but I want ONLY the AUDIO. Does anyone know how to do this? Do I have to rip the whole DVD first and then extract the audio? Thanks ahead to anyone who can help!

I've tried DirectDVD, but for some reason, it only encodes as you watch the movie and then the files just diappears; I've also tried SmartRipper/Vob2audio as well, but for some reason, SmartRipper doesn't create the right files (audio stream) that Vob2audio needs to encode.

I'm primarily looking to encode several concerts into MP3 format from the new MY DYING BRIDE DVD. I NEED HELP!

    thanks.

  2. Use Smart Ripper, and change the settings to split by Chapter instead of VOB and then load each "Chapter" into DVD2AVI, and you can either create a WAV or a MP3 directly from it.

I Think (not sure) but you can use DVD2AVI to create the WAV/MP3 directly from the DVD using the OpenDVD.DLL plugin.
