  1. ive converted a .avi to VCD but when i want to watch it the sound isnt on the correct place.

    you need to give much more information...how did you convert audio/video?
    do a search for out of sync in the forum...you should find an answer to your question

  3. TMPGEnc but i think i choose the wrong framerate or somthing becuz the audio is too late

    load the file in virtualdub, and under file-->file information
    that will give you the framerate of the .avi
    I would also go to audio-->full processing mode
    file-->save wav
    use this wave as the audio source
    ..or: use this wav in Besweet w/GUI(in tools section) as source to encode audio separately, encode video only in TMPG, and multiplex(file-->MPEG tools)
