Hello to all. When encoding in Megui a longer duration movie (2 hours+) the program is splitting the final encode into 2 separate files. It should be only one file after encoding but instead there are 2 separate files (one file with 2GB in size and second file around 400MB) Please is there a method to fix this? I was looking in megui settings but i cannot see it nowhere.

    Thanks in advance

    Details, details, details...

    a) Do you encode to a file system which does not support huge files?

    b) Do you encode to a container format which does not support huge files with the selected options?

    c) Did you accidently select an option to split output files?

Answers for all these question should be found in your MeGUI log file. Did you post that here?

Thanks LigH.de for your help, i figured it out another way, just joined the two files together with AviDemuxīs append function. And this happened only first time to me because the movie i was encoding had 2hours 48minutes, it did not happen with less duration movies, so its not a big problem now.

No doubt you have selected an option to split your encode into 2 gb parts. This option is there for OS that does not allow for files/format typically Fat32(IIRC) that will not allow for larger files.

  6. There's two options when selecting AVI as the output and using AutoEncode & OneClick. "Standard" and "PC". I kind of remember the difference is "Standard" doesn't use OpenDML, so it's limited to 2GB. Or it could be a 1GB limit and I've got it wrong.

I haven't tested it or used AVI as the output for almost an eternity, but that's another possibility.
It'd be easier to provide an answer that's not guesswork if you provided more details.
