    Hi,

I am a new VSDC video editor user.

Would appreciate if experience user can show and guide me on how to highlight/"circle" out selected area of video.

Sample effect similar to following video.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ak-ile2HUFY

    Highlight (at around 0:08)
    Circle effect (at around 0:26)

  2. Hello.

    click effect:

Add a circle shape to the scene, select a type with borders. Then choose a required color and thickness. If you need to move this circle, double-click the circle layer on the timeline and apply movement - 'Add object' > 'Movement'.

    Highlight:

    here's a tutorial on applying a mask tool - https://youtu.be/pJRNCThSTWY
increase the level of lightness instead of using a pixelize effect. If necessary apply movement as well.
