Subtitle Workshop 6.0c: problem with SSA subtitles

Hi TeodZ 1984, I appreciate the effort you made to write a review and at the same time to report a problem.

I would like to investigate this further, so could you please send me the .ssa subtitlefile that shows the problem you describe? You can mail it to Kameleon_@mail.com (Kameleon with a trailing underscore).

p.s. I did already see some odd things with the SSA subtitles, so I removed already those, but I do not know if this actually solves the SSA problem.

1) Can you, please, make a portable version from your release too?


Here we find a portable version from the previous Subtitle Workshop and works nice.


2) Now Subtitle Workshop can work using audio bar + video bar preview just like the picture below?

This feature helps a lot to mark the timing between the speeches. If such feature does not exist yet, can you add it?

If you could add audio bar + video bar for timing the speeches will be very nice.


I always missed such feature on Subtitle Workshop engine.


For years I have asked for it developers to add such feature, because help a lot concerning timing purposes.


Can you add such feature ( like Sub Station Alpha has, concerning audio bar ) in Subtitle Workshop?

Hi. Subtitle Workshop can work with videos / subtitles with 60.000 FPS or other odd / unusual frame rates?



Example: converting one subtitle that has 23.976 FPS to 60.000 FPS and vice-versa I can do it using your program?


If not, do you think you can add such feature on Subtitle Workshop? I don't know if such feature would have some demand from other users.
